A photo journal:
Arrive at beautiful Canal Park in Duluth.

Set up comfy viewing spot amongst the masses.

Watch excellent fireworks display over the harbor.

Have son drop his iPod in the rocks and lose it deep down within the cracks. Return the next morning to try to attempt to find it and, if possible, retrieve it. Try not to think about the ridiculous odds of doing so.
Have wife surgically extract paper thin iPod from within the crevices 6 feet below and scream with excitement. Assist by taking pictures for your blog.Have son be eternally grateful and owe his parents for... oh, I don't know - pretty much LIFE.

Go buy lottery tickets since we must be the luckiest people on the planet.

Gee, Some husbands would be kind and only publish flattering pictures of their wives, that's very nice dear...Enjoy the couch.
good one, Charlie! I thought you looked totally together, for such and early hour. Crawling around on deadly rocks--you get mom of the month award! (Your butt looked good, too!!) Cindy
I think a smart move right now is to print a decent picture of Charlie, and let everyone see how pretty she really is!!!!.
A woman's work is NEVER done. We are hard wired to find lost things....
I agree a good picture of charli should be forthcoming.
It's amazing to me the number of things Moms are expected to find. Equally amazing to me is how often the "lost" thing is right in front of them.
Geez, I didn't think her picture was that bad. She was just in a mid-hurray when I snapped it. Nonetheless, you asked and I delivered. Now if you click the picture you can see her just a mere few milliseconds later.
No, of course I didn't photoshop that in.
Best. iPod story. Ever.
I am very impressed with Charli's iPod retrieval skillz. Your son should scrub toilets for a week or some other such household chore as thanks to his mom.
Yeah, your son will be rubbing both of your feet for the next few weeks.
Clever way to get off the couch. Now you can fix our heads!!!
Remember how I complained about not getting any action. Imagine how little I would get if I published pictures of my wife in that position? What are you thinking, man?
As for Ipods: I remember when i was a kid and my Dad found my lost Ipod. Boy was I greatful.
Any mom going to those lengths for her child is beautiful! Charli always looks good anyway. I totally understand the concept of letting stuff happen so you can snap pics for the blog. Fortunately, my family is also okay with it.
That is sheer luck finding a dropped iPod the next day. She is a SuperMom.
typical mom form....as for mitch mcdad, he must be like.....20? if his dad found his "ipod" when he was a kid? lol
