Thank you all for submitting your inspiring comments the other day. It actually does make me feel better to read these. Here's what makes YOU happy...
| I don't know why this gives me so much joy, but I'll put out a shallow dish of water on my porch, and all the little chickadees take turns splashing around for a bath. I can watch that all day. - Rick | I still think happiness is a warm puppy. Jess was here this weekend with hers and that little thing jumping up on the bed and snuggling next to me was pretty sweet. The little squirrel that takes nuts from my hand makes me happy - Mom Thumb | Henry James said it all: "Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind, and the third is to be kind!" - Count Sneaky |

I decided to split this into two (or more if I keep getting them) posts so it wasn't too big. I really enjoyed this. Thank you all again.
Apparently I'm missing out on some major happiness by not having dogs or cats!
Oh you definitely are. A cat or dog is the icing on the cake - the cake being your family :O)
The mound of poop in the yard, the hair in your cereal, the citation for your black lab attacking two show dogs--you're not missing out.
Nice list!
Oooh, some one else said puppy breath!! I love puppy breath!!
Let me know when you're ready for some kitty happiness. I can hook you up!
beetle - Umm... I'm not so sure I want a cat or dog on my cake. I hate it when I get hair in my food. ;b
prefers - Those show dogs would never have won anyway.
elizabeth - Oh my... you obviously never met Sunny. Check this out.
ed - Ya thanks. I'll let you know.
my snuggie makes me happy.
wonderful post! refreshing!
I love seeing other happiness-ers. I forgot quite a few -- par for the course, I know. Very cool setup. How did you do that?
This blog is my happy place.
Keep it up!
Aw, what a great idea!!!
And yes, pets give you special fuzzy feeling alright (at least when you're not cleaning something they horked up).
It's all so warm and happy over here. Where's my snuggie?
This is a happy place. The Count has tried hard to make his that also. Please let me have your opinion of it. Happiness, also, is living where you don't have to shovel snow. Count Sneaky
