That was the sound of all the air being let out of my last post.
The very day I decide to write about the injustice of a certain company's bait & switch philosophy over the limited release of their new pop sensation's movie, they decide to retract their position and keep the movie playing indefinitely in general release.
Bah... I'm pretty sure they did it just to spite me, not of course because they made $29 million the first weekend.
So, because yesterday's blog bubble has been burst - I decided to remove it.
No other reason.
Definitely not because I also realized that this certain company owns ABC News who supported my son's skate plaza project and gave him national exposure as the ABC Person of the Week in October 2006.
Nope, that had nothing to do with it.

whoa, derailed! i was about to comment on the genius of the phrase "disenheaded body" but now it will seem like i'm simply talking nonsense. which is nothing new, really.
bon bon - Thanks for trying though! But does that phrase really even need to be in context to be funny?
What a great video! I had no idea. You must be so proud of him. :)
No way! That is so cool!
Ok, I have no idea what the controversy is about, but Austin rocks.
I didn't know that he was on ABC...
Great kid... I see the acorn didn't fall far from the tree!'
Kudos!
Disney is not very good at marketing to the Hannah Montana demo. They are seriously losing money by the slow release approach.
Hell they could take the outtakes and cut scenes from HSM I and II, mesh them into a storyline and release it as HSM III and guess what? It would sell millions of copies.
Who is that little cartoon character at the top of your post? You blocked out its eyes and I can't make him out.
Austin indeed rocks.
Nice story about your son. He takes after him mom I'm guessing?
I had to delete a post once because hubby took offense to it. I hate censorship.
I still love that clip from ABC of Austin.
Now I'm confused...when you celebrate your 5 billionth post it will really be your 5 billionth and one. I'm calling the audit department...
Very cool video.
You looked good in profile not saying anything. :)
Congratulations on winning Emma's mullet contest--and that's really cool about your son! Looks like a great kid.
That sure was fun to see the video again.I'd sort of forgotten some of the details. BTW--how close are they to building the skate park? And I hear Austin is going to New York---all because of his promoting a skate park!!!!WOW!!! Grandma's not TOO proud!!!
Wimp. Never take down a post. Just update with an explanation or something. And it was a blatant marketing move by The Mouse whose goal is to shake all the loose change and small bills out of every parent everywhere for all time. They may support your son's project, but they still have much else to atone for.
And Austin's commitment is astounding. I have loved following this on your blog. He is really an awesome kid.
