My band The Receders played the annual Halloween Bash at Pearl Lake Lodge Saturday night.
I'm a little concerned about how easy it was for us to pull this off.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Nice. Ahem.
I can't think of anything else to add!!
Really...leaving this to the professionals, like Jennine.
Yeah, it's the mustache. It totally makes your outfit!
But where was the Indian Chief? It's just not the same without him.
Now I've got that song stuck in my head... thanks for that!
I certainly hope you put that costume to better use later...
I guess it's my turn to spit coffee all over the computer screen.

Every man wants to be a macho macho man to have the kind of body, always in demand
Walking with your wife in the mornings, go man go! Works out in the skateboard park, muscles glow
You can best believe that, Jeff's a macho man, ready to get down with, anyone he can
Hey! Hey! Hey, hey, hey!
Macho, macho man (macho man)
Jeff's got to be, a macho man
Macho, macho man....
Way to go, Francis Poncherello. Or do you prefer Sonny Crockett?
heather - I agree. As you'll notice by the post, I'm at a loss for words myself.
dave - Unfortunately I couldn't wear it all night because I couldn't keep it stuck on my lip. They just don't make those dollar store mustaches like they use to.
mooselet - The cowboy guy was originally going to be the Indian, but he said he was having issues with his loincloth - whatever that means.
kal - What could be better use than being a Village Person?
waya - Oh yeah, the cop was one of the originals. We opened the 2nd set with Y.M.C.A. and every single person in the club was on the dance floor. It was DISCO-MANIA!
jennine - Very nice. And now we know why Heather said what she said.
People: Do not attempt this at home... Jennine IS a professional!
When did Gilligan join the Village People?
So...were you guys heading over to the YMCA after that bash?
Just a taste of what I've missed this past month on internet hiatus. Sigh. It's good to be back. You should see Girlie dance to YMCA. She really sells it.
That is simply precious, you're wives must be so proud!
rick - Why do you sound so surprised? You can't tell me you weren't suspicious of Gilligan in the first place.
paul - That's 'cause he couldn't portray himself as a "straight-shooter"
sandy - We should have. We all could have used a shower.
wendy - I've missed you. And you've missed SO much!
carla - The Village People have wives?
Cool, next year go as Queen! Okay, I built it, you said you would come. http://lettersfromthirdgrade.blogspot.com/
You guys look the part. I still want to know when 'YMCA' became a kids party sing along.
Very nice. I'm glad to see that you are comfortable with your heterosexuality!
linda - Good point. Especially since I already have the Freddy Mercury look nailed!
yello - No kidding. I'm especially disturbed by these lyrics - knowing their "orientation" and all:
"They have everything for young men to enjoy. You can hang out with all the boys."
bugwit - Yep. No danger there!
SCARY!
Happy Halloweenie! :)
