but momma - And you were lucky enough to be driving by during those five minutes eh?
chanakin - Yeah, "I'll just wait until my tank is COMPLETELY empty so I get the most bang for my buck." The only bang I ever get is the sound of my plan backfiring.
blog-o - Say Wa? I'm so sorry - for both your gas prices and your state slogan.
I'm thinking of building a barn, buying some horse and a buggy and selling my car. Hay is cheap. Manure is good for the garden. And I've been trying to slow my life down for awhile now.
I've learned to buy petrol when it hits its cheap point in our weekly cycle, usually Tuesday or early Wednesday, whether I need it or not. Average price here in Brisbane (wait, let me do the conversions) is $3.95 a gallon. More expensive in Sydney and Melbourne.

I was THRILLED today when I found a station selling for $2.58 a gallon.
Sorry it wouldn't be worth your drive.:(
AHAHAHAHA!
That's too true. "Naw, I'll stop tomorrow..."
$2.58? We haven't seen that in Seattle since the turn of the century! Say WA state average, 3.11, oh happy day!

I saw our stations (SE MN) are at $2.69 today. We thought that was purdy darned cheap, and filled up!
$2.89 in southern Maryland today. At least 10 cents cheaper than my area.
Think anyone's regretting those Hummers and Tahoes?
Your bike gets great mileage, I'm betting.
Heh, exactly the way it works.
