Dead Cows Riding

The other day, while driving home from my meeting, I ended up alongside a livestock transport truck carrying a load of cows.

In between the slats I could see one of them just looking at me, as if she were asking, "Where are they taking me? I'm just a cow who belongs in a field, not in a bumpy metal trailer."

Help me!
I didn't have the heart to tell her the truth.

Awwww. Living in Oklahoma, I see thousands of cows contentedly grazing in their fields. I have no doubt that they live long and happy lives there and then die peacefully in their sleep.

...and these trucks are just bringing them to a big field in Oklahoma?

Yeah, that's it.

You should have told her that she was going to cooking school. :)

What is it about cows that makes us all go "Awwwwww"? Even though we may be headed home to a good steak...

Mooselet, it's those huge brown eyes. You gotta love an animal that is dumber than a box of hammers.

Cows are contagious.
